Catch up with the pandemic developments across the states over the weekend, read on to be equipped to fight with the virus 

Kerala: Health Minister KK Shailaja said that the state government will decide on making Covid-19 negative certificate mandatory for expats returning on chartered flights after holding talks with PM on Tuesday. The Minister pointed out that Kerala prevented community transmission of Covid-19 so far as only 10% of people contracted the disease through community transmission after the relaxations in lockdown. She said that the Health Department is actively working to reduce it by 5%. Six Keralites, five in the Gulf and one in Mumbai, have succumbed to the Covid-19. With this, the number of Keralites died in the Gulf countries rose to 225. Yesterday 85 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in the state. 1,342 patients are presently undergoing treatment.
Tamil Nadu:18 new Covid-19 cases in Puducherry, total tally rises to 194; death toll at 4. TN CM assures coronavirus-affected AIADMK MLA all medical aid. 18 people test positive for Covid-19 in Coimbatore. 1989 new cases, 1362 recoveries & 30 deaths reported yesterday. 1484 cases from Chennai. Total cases: 42687, Active cases: 18878, Deaths: 397, Discharged: 22047, Active cases in Chennai: 14180.
Karnataka: Amid speculation, Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar says there is no lockdown proposal before the government. Govt's intentions are bona fide in banning online classes, says Education Minister Suresh Kumar. 308 new cases, 209 discharges & three deaths reported yesterday. Total positive cases: 6824, Active cases: 3092, Deaths: 81, Discharges 3648.
Andhra Pradesh: AP assembly secretary issue guidelines amid assembly sessions, denies permission for MLA's staff. BJP leader Subramaniam Swamy tweets on TTD, says petition seeking to get rid the Tirumala Temple from the control of State government is in AP High Court in final stages. 253 new cases reported after testing 15,633 samples with two deaths reported during the last 24 hours, 82 discharged. Total cases: 4841, Active: 2034, Recovered: 2723, Deaths: 84.
Telangana: District hospitals face 60% doctor shortage amid Covid-19. To transport migrant workers, stranded tourists and students, the South Central Railway has till now run 240 Shramik Special trains to various destinations from the zone. In addition to the originating Shramik trains, the zone is also said to be handling several passes through Shramik specials as well. The total number of cases stands at 4,737, while the total deaths are now 182. The majority of these cases, as per official data, were recorded from within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
Maharashtra: The state has reported yet another high spike of 3,427 Covid-19 cases, taking the state tally to 104,568. While Mumbai has been able to restrict the coronavirus spread to some extent, a spike in the caseload in rural parts of the state and districts like Solapur, Aurangabad, Yavatmal, Jalgaon remains a cause of concern for the administration.
Gujarat: June has been a month of new peaks for Gujarat in terms of new Covid-19 cases. It crossed the 500- mark in a single day for the first time this month, continuing to rise even further. 517 fresh cases on infection were reported across the state, taking the total number of reported cases to 23,079, while the death toll reached 1,449 with 33 more succumbing to the infection. In 13 days of June, the state has reported 6,285 cases.
Rajasthan: The state registered 131 fresh Covid-19 cases on Sunday taking the tally to 12,532, while the death toll climbed to 286 with four new fatalities, according to State Health Officials. Among the fresh cases, 40 were reported from Dholpur, 34 from Bharatpur, 15 from Alwar, 12 from Jaipur.
Madhya Pradesh: Bhopal Administration has given permission to open religious places for the public from Monday. Till date, Bhopal has reported 2,145 COVID-19 cases and 69 deaths. The number pf COVID-19 cases in Madhya Pradesh has reached 10,641 after 198 new cases were detected during the last 24 hours.
Chhattisgarh: The state has reported 105 new Covid cases taking the state total to 1,550. The number of active cases in the state is 913.
Assam: 43 new COVID19 positive cases in Assam. Total cases 3943, active cases 2127, recovered 1805 and deaths 8.
Manipur: To ensure fast testing of all returnees, Manipur Government plans to install new COVID19 testing equipment which can test 3000 to 4000 samples in a day. Manipur CM chairs COVID-19 State Consultative Committee meeting; discusses ways to ensure testing of all the returnees as soon as possible.
Mizoram: Mizoram police have booked six youths for supplying drugs and liquor to people in quarantine centres.
Nagaland: Mon district administration in Nagaland prohibits public movement within a 1 km radius of WangkhaoGovt College and ITI campus after six returnees test COVID-19 positive. State Tobacco Control Cell continues identifying tobacco-free villages and promoting a ban on spitting in public places across the state.
Sikkim: Five new cases of COVID-19 positive in Sikkim. All of them are returnees, total active cases in the State are 63
