Chennai, November 27th, 2025:  ALERT, a voluntary non-profit organisation that empowers a common man to act In Case of Emergency & Save lives has invited the nominations for the 9th Edition of ALERT Being Award, an annual event to honor Individuals and Organizations across India who have acted in favor of saving or preserving or enabled human life with its dignity. Nominations for the Alert Being Awards are open for good samaritans across India and the last date of nomination is on 20th December 2025. The shortlisted awardees will be honored at the ALERT BEING AWARDS 9th Edition ceremony scheduled in February 2026.

This prestigious award honors Good Samaritans who have selflessly saved lives during emergencies, recognizing their courage, compassion, and exemplary service to humanity. Alert Being Awards will be presented in different categories of Individual, Organization, Individual – Going Beyond Call of Duty, Organization – Social Venture shortlisted from the nominations by the Jury. Also, ALERT confers icon and lifetime achievement awards to individuals or organisations who have created impact at scale and have served humanity their entire life. This year ALERT Being Awards will be presented to 10 Good Samaritans nationally who have saved or preserved lives during emergencies.

Distinguished members of the Jury Thiru Md. Shakeel Akhtar IPS, DGP(Retd) TN State Chief Information Commissioner; Dr. J S Rajkumar, Chairman – LIMA; Nawabzada Mohammed Asif Ali, Dewan to the Prince of Arcot; Ms. Veena Kumaravel, Founder - Naturals Group of Salons; Mr. Sujith Kumar, Founder - Maatram Foundation and Mr. Anandakrishnan, Serial Entrepreneur; will shortlist the awardees from the numerous inspirational heroes who get nominated. Dr Renuka David, MD – Radiant Medical Services and Mr. C K Kumaravel, CEO & Co-Founder, Naturals Salon & Spa are the advisors of the Event.
