The number of Covid 19 cases in Mumbai is steadily declining as the city has reported less than 1000 cases per day for more than a week.

The number of Covid 19 cases in Mumbai is steadily declining as the city has reported less than 1000 cases per day for more than a week. 
 
From the 1st of Dec to 7th Dec, the city witnessed new Corona Virus cases in the range of 700- 900  per day.
 
In the last 24 hours, 786 new cases have been reported.
 
With this, the number of total cases till date has risen to 2,86,046. 
 

The number of death has also been under 20 for the past three days with the city recording 13 deaths in the last 24 hours. 
 
The total death toll till date is 10,902. Meanwhile, 1652 patients were discharged on Sunday.

 
So far, 2,61,191 patients have returned home after recovering from the infection.
 
Currently, there are 13,132 active patients undergoing treatment at various hospitals.
