In Puducherry, the number of new Covid 19 cases has shown a declining trend for the last many days, with 14 new cases reported today.

In Puducherry, the number of new Covid 19 cases has shown a declining trend for the last many days, with 14 new cases reported today.

The recovery rate stands at 97.46 percent, and the fatality rate is 1.66 percent.

Reports state that according to the COVID 19 statistics released by the Health Department out of 14 new cases, 6 cases are from Puducherry region, 1 case from Karaikal, 7 cases from Mahe region.

No case is reported from the Yanam region and only one death has been reported from the Karaikal region. 26 persons were discharged from hospitals.

Presently, 192 persons are being treated in hospitals and another 140 positive cases are under home isolation with a total number of 332 active cases here.
