Health Ministry said over 1,10, 85,000 people were given Covid-19 vaccination in the country so far. Over 4,32,000 doses were given in the last 48 hours.

India continues reaching new milestones in terms of administering COVID vaccine doses to record number of beneficiaries.

Meanwhile the COVID-19 recovery rate in the country has improved to 97.25 per cent. In the last 24 hours, 11,667 people recovered and over 1,06,89,000 people have recovered so far from the COVID-19 infection.

In the last 24 hours, 14,264 new cases were reported. The number of active cases in the country stands at nearly 1,45,000  comprising merely 1.32 per cent of the total reported cases. 90 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative toll to 1,56,302.

Indian Council of Medical Research, has informed that over 6,70,000 samples were tested for COVID-19 in the country on Saturday. With this the cumulative testing figure has crossed 21,09,000,00 figure. As of today, 2,393 laboratories are engaged in testing COVID samples, which includes one thousand 220 government and 1,173 private labs.
