28th May 2026, New Delhi - The Hyderabad Public School Society proudly felicitated its distinguished alumnus, Dr. G. Venkat Rao, for his extraordinary contributions to the field of medicine and healthcare. The special felicitation ceremony celebrated not only his remarkable professional accomplishments but also his inspiring journey with HPS.

Dr. G. Venkat Rao, Director of AIG Hospitals and Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, serves as Chief of Surgical Gastroenterology, GI Oncology, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Robotic Surgery, and Transplantation Services. A proud alumnus of The Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur, from the batch of 1976, Dr. Rao has earned national and international recognition for his pioneering work in advanced gastrointestinal and oncological surgeries.

Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur, is known for its strong academic foundation, holistic approach to education, and emphasis on leadership, values, sports, and co-curricular excellence.
