Physiotherapy Plays a Key Role in Patient Recovery: Dr. Bhaskar Rao

KIMS Physiotherapy Graduation Celebrated Grandly.

Hyderabad, November 13, 2025: Physiotherapy plays a crucial role in the recovery of patients, said Dr. Bhaskar Rao, Chairman and Managing Director of KIMS Group of Hospitals. He was speaking at the KIMS College of Physiotherapy 2020 Batch Graduation Day celebrations held on Thursday at KIMS Hospitals.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rao emphasized the importance of staying updated with changing technologies. He noted that after surgeries, physiotherapists play a vital role in helping patients regain full functionality. He appreciated the hard work, patience, and dedication of the 2020 batch of KIMS College of Physiotherapy students and congratulated them for successfully completing their studies despite challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Harini Chebrolu, President of KIMS Educational Society, congratulated the graduates and advised them to uphold compassion, integrity, and professional excellence in their medical practice.

Dr. Manimala Rao, Director of Medical Education (Academics), and Dr. Raj Gopal highlighted that physiotherapy is especially crucial for faster recovery after surgeries resulting from accidents. They also mentioned that physiotherapy plays a significant role in treating neurological disorders. In cases like paralysis, recovery largely depends on physiotherapy after medical treatment. They expressed hope that the students would use their skills to help many people.

The event was attended by Dr. Bharat Kanth Reddy, COO of KIMS Hospitals; Dr. I. Venkateswarlu, Principal of KIMS College of Physiotherapy; faculty members Dr. Sudheendra and others, along with staff and students.
