Earlier, 2 thousand 211 patients were reported on September 28. With the death of one person each in 15 districts of the state, the death toll has reached 2 thousand 116.

After the increase in Corona cases, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is interacting with representatives of private hospitals through video conference today.

In the last five days, more than 2 thousand 500 new patients of Corona have reported in the capital Jaipur. The number of active patients has reached close to 7 thousand. There is now a shortage of ICU beds in government and private hospitals.

In view of the situation, the Chief Minister has urged private hospitals to increase the number of beds for COVID patients. The situation of COVID infection in Jodhpur is also bad. After reports of not getting proper treatment to the COVID patients there, the State Human Rights Commission has constituted a high-level committee under the chairmanship of the Divisional Commissioner.

The Commission has asked this committee to inspect all private and government hospitals and submit a factual report.
