Launch of ‘Power of 3’ Initiative by Ramkrishna CARE Hospital in Raipur.
Raipur, October 25, 2025: Ramkrishna CARE Hospital, in collaboration with the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) – Raipur Chapter, successfully inaugurated the two-day CRITICON Raipur 2025, a premier national conference dedicated to advancing excellence in critical care medicine.
The inauguration was graced by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai as the Chief Guest, in the presence of Hon’ble Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Dr. Raman Singh as Guests of Honour. The event was also attended by Mr. Varun Khanna, Group Managing Director, Quality CARE India Limited (QCIL); Dr. Pawan Kumar, CEO, CARE Hospitals; and Dr. Sandeep Dave, Managing Director, Ramkrishna CARE Hospitals, Dr.Abbas Naqvi, Senior Consultant - Internal Medicine, Dr. Vishal Kumar, HOD, Critical Care, Ramkrishna CARE Hospital along with senior medical leaders, consultants, and dignitaries from across India.
The dignitaries, including Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, and Dr. Raman Singh appreciated the medical fraternity’s commitment to innovation and patient care in Chhattisgarh, and lauded Ramkrishna CARE Hospital’s continued contribution to advancing healthcare in the region.
The event brings together leading intensivists, anesthesiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals from across the region to discuss the latest developments, innovations, and best practices in critical care. Through workshops, scientific sessions, and interactive discussions, CRITICON Raipur 2025 aims to enhance clinical knowledge and strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration in the management of critically ill patients.
On this occasion, Mr. Varun Khanna, Group Managing Director, Quality CARE India Limited (QCIL), announced the launch of “Power of 3” and initiative by Ramkrishna CARE Hospital in Raipur to redefine emergency response standards in the city.

The ‘Power of 3’ is an emergency response initiative with three key promises: emergency calls are answered within 3 rings, ambulances arrive within 30 minutes in Raipur, and an Emergency Room doctor attends to patients within 3 minutes of their arrival. The campaign aims to provide rapid, precise, and life-saving care during medical emergencies.

A major highlight of the day was the participation of Dr. Marcus, international faculty and critical care expert, who shared global perspectives on evolving trends and evidence-based practices in intensive care management. The conference also featured panel discussions led by renowned specialists including Dr.Yash Javeri, Dr. Rajan Kumar, and Dr. Sonal Asthana, and a keynote address delivered by Dr. Suresh Advani, one of India’s most respected medical luminaries in cancer care.
The inaugural session witnessed participation from senior government officials, medical leaders, and delegates from across India. Over two days, CRITICON Raipur 2025 features expert lectures, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops on topics such as sepsis management, mechanical ventilation, ECMO, neurocritical care, and advances in hemodynamic monitoring.
