Bangalore, India – February, 2025, – HEJJE, India's best in class transition care center and an offshoot of the esteemed M.S. Ramaiah Family Conglomerate, today announced the addition of Dr. Prabhavathi. R, a highly respected Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician, to its growing team of healthcare experts. Formerly with Aster Hospitals, Dr. Prabhavathi brings over 14 years of unparalleled experience in pediatrics and a specialized focus on neurodevelopmental disorders to HEJJE's innovative care model.

With expertise in pediatrics, Dr. Prabhavathi specializes in the diagnosis, assessments, and treatment of neurodevelopmental conditions such learning difficulties, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Her experience would greatly benefit HEJJE's pediatric rehabilitation program, providing children and their families with specialized treatment and support.

Dr. Prabhavathi's expertise extends to a wide range of conditions, including speech delay, global developmental delay, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, metabolic and genetic disorders, as well as evaluation and management of high-risk newborns. She also addresses childhood anxiety and depression and has a special interest in adolescent counseling and parent training.

Additionally, Future Foundations, a special school for kids with autism spectrum disorder, was founded and is run by Dr. Prabhavathi. Her commitment to raising awareness and advocating for inclusion for people with special needs, supports HEJJE's goal of fostering a compassionate and understanding society. Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Prabhavathi is an enthusiastic educator who oversees the Child Development Center at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College. There, she participates in the postgraduate teaching program and actively diagnoses and treats neurodevelopmental disorders.

HEJJE, launched in December 2024, serves as a bridge between hospital care and home recovery, offers a unique environment catering to both pediatric and geriatric patients. The center boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including robotic rehab equipment, Oculus virtual reality therapy, and a 10,000-square-foot enabling garden accessible to differently-abled individuals.
