▴ SBI Mutual Fund launches InvesTap Nxt
The upgraded InvesTap Nxt app leverages conversational AI, intelligent workflows, and Account Aggregator–enabled data access to provide seamless, comprehensive portfolio insights, making investment decisions simpler and more intuitive for investors.
Mumbai | Feb 6, 2026
SBI Mutual Fund (SBIMF) today announced the launch of InvesTap Nxt, a next generation of its digital investment platform. The launch follows the recent introduction of SBIMF’s AI-powered WhatsApp chat companion called “SmartAssist”, which has now been enhanced and integrated into InvesTap Nxt.
Powered by advanced AI, conversational investment journeys, and Wealth Index via Account Aggregator (AA) integration, InvesTap Nxt provides investors with a clearer and more personalised view of their financial portfolios.
The platform delivers easy‑to‑understand insights and enables users to access their consolidated financial information across products and institutions, all within a secure, consent‑based framework.
A more intuitive and friendly investing experience with your personal AI assistant
InvesTap Nxt introduces a conversational interface that enables investors to ask questions, explore investment options, and track portfolio performance in a simple and intuitive manner. The AI engine interprets user intent, analyses portfolio data, and delivers timely insights aligned with individual financial goals.
“With InvesTap Nxt, we are moving beyond transactions to meaningful financial conversations,” said Mr. Nand Kishore, Managing Director & CEO, SBI Mutual Fund. “The platform gives investors greater clarity and confidence to make smarter investment decisions.”
Guided investment journeys powered by conversational AI
The platform gives the investor a full perspective to make more insightful decisions. It supports guided journeys for product discovery with natural language capabilities.
As the world moves towards conversational AI, SBIMF is ensuring that investors can smartly discover, invest and make service requests with simple conversations instead of navigating complex menus - from onboarding to fund discovery and investment to portfolio management. Investors can use simple queries to understand performance, asset allocation, and diversification, making the experience accessible to both new and experienced investors.
These conversations adapt to user behaviour and preferences, ensuring relevant and personalised insights throughout the investment journey.
Complete portfolio view through Account Aggregator
A key feature of InvesTap Nxt is its integration with India’s Account Aggregator ecosystem. With user consent, the platform securely aggregates financial information across multiple institutions – including bank accounts and investments – to provide a 360‑degree view of financial health, known as the “Wealth Index”.
This consolidated view helps investors plan better, assess risk more effectively, and understand asset allocation while maintaining complete control over their data. As the platform continues to evolve, the Wealth Index will further support investors in their financial journey through portfolio scores based on risk, diversification, and investment objectives.
“By combining conversational AI with Account Aggregator‑based insights, InvesTap Nxt acts as a true financial companion,” said Mr. Srinivas Jain, Executive Director & Head – Strategy, Digital & Technology, SBI Mutual Fund. “It helps investors not only see their portfolio but also clearly understand it.”
Secure, inclusive, and future‑ready
InvesTap Nxt has been developed with a strong emphasis on security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
Available on both Android and iOS, InvesTap Nxt serves as a 24×7 intelligent investment companion, helping users plan, invest, track, and optimise their portfolios with ease.
