27th January 2026: On the occasion of India’s 77th Republic Day, Manipal Hospitals celebrated the spirit of patriotism by strengthening the nation’s health. Upholding the belief that a healthy citizenry is the foundation of a strong republic, Manipal Hospitals organised Republic Day health camps across its hospitals in Dwarka, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, and Ranchi transforming the day into a collective movement of care, service, and national responsibility.

As part of this initiative, more than 1,800 citizens participated in these specially-curated health camps and were offered comprehensive health check-up packages at highly subsidised rates, making preventive healthcare accessible to a wider section of the community. Services included essential blood investigations, cardiac screening, eye check-ups, physician consultations, diet counselling, and other preventive assessments, addressing common yet often overlooked health concerns across age groups.

Republic Day is a reminder of our responsibility towards the nation and its people. Through these health camps, our aim was to make preventive healthcare more accessible and encourage individuals to prioritise timely health screenings. Early detection plays a critical role in improving long-term health outcomes.

The strong participation reflected a growing awareness around preventive healthcare, particularly during public holidays and long weekends when families are more likely to engage in health-related initiatives. Manipal Hospitals continues to undertake regular outreach programmes, community health camps, and awareness drives as part of its efforts to support early diagnosis and promote healthier communities.
