Greater Noida, 08 June 2026 – Reinforcing its commitment to promoting health, safety, and sporting excellence, ShardaCare - Healthcity partnered with Prometheus School as the official healthcare partner for the prestigious 30th Pre-UP State Shooting Championship 2026. The championship, held in association with the UP-State Rifle Association (UPSRA) from 4th to 7th June in Noida, brought together over 2,000 shooters from across Uttar Pradesh, making it one of the largest state-level shooting events in the region.

As the healthcare partner for an event of this scale, ShardaCare - Healthcity played a critical role in ensuring comprehensive medical preparedness and seamless healthcare delivery throughout the championship. Recognizing the demands of competitive sports and the importance of rapid medical response, the hospital deployed a dedicated, multidisciplinary medical team comprising experienced doctors, emergency physicians, nurses and paramedics.

A fully equipped on-site medical unit was established at the venue, designed to manage a wide spectrum of medical needs ranging from minor injuries to emergency situations. The support infrastructure included:

- 24x7 on-ground medical coverage across all days of the championship

- Immediate first-aid and trauma response capabilities

- Ambulance services for rapid stabilization and transfer, if required

- Monitoring and management of sports-related injuries, including muscle strain, fatigue, and dehydration

- Emergency preparedness protocols to handle acute medical contingencies

Over the course of the event, the ShardaCare team actively supported 2,000+ athletes, coaches, officials, and attendees, ensuring that all participants had access to timely medical attention in a safe and controlled environment. The presence of a structured medical response system significantly contributed to the smooth and uninterrupted conduct of the championship.

Beyond emergency care, the initiative also emphasized preventive and supportive healthcare, with medical teams closely monitoring participants for signs of exertion, stress, and dehydration which are common factors in high-focus sports such as shooting.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rishabh Gupta, Managing Director, ShardaCare - Healthcity, said: "At ShardaCare, we believe that quality healthcare is an essential pillar of sporting excellence. Partnering with the Pre-UP State Shooting Championship reflects our commitment to supporting athletes not just within hospital settings, but also where performance and endurance are tested. Our teams were fully equipped and prepared to handle any medical exigency, ensuring a safe, responsive, and athlete-focused environment throughout the event."

Highlighting the importance of strong medical backing for large-scale sporting events, Mr. Mukesh Sharma, Founder Chairperson and CEO, Prometheus School, added:

"We sincerely appreciate ShardaCare - Healthcity for their exceptional medical support during the championship. Their proactive approach, experienced team, and readiness to manage emergencies ensured that the event was conducted smoothly and safely for all participants."
