Chennai, India, February 10th, 2026: Skybags, a youth-centric brand, with a mission to help consumers move in style, known for its luggage and backpack range, today launched its range of official licensed Chennai Super Kings (CSK) products as the team’s Official Luggage Partner for the upcoming 2026 season. The association marks Skybags’ strategic entry into sports; beginning with what is considered as a religion in India – ‘Cricket’.
This association reinforces VIP Industries Limited’s commitment to reach consumers through innovation, youth centric events, and supporting the sports culture in India. As part of this partnership, Skybags will retail an exclusive co-branded luggage and backpack range modelled in CSK’s brand expressions, designed to reflect the team’s iconic identity while catering to the evolving needs of today’s on-the-move consumers. The association will see Skybags closely integrated across CSK’s fan engagements throughout the 2026 season, while the official co-branded merchandise will continue to be available across retail outlets in India even after the completion of the cricket league. The luggage bags will begin at a consumer price of INR 4590; while the backpacks will be available starting at a consumer price of INR 1999 for Indian consumers.
Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Atul Jain, Managing Director and CEO, VIP Industries Limited, said, “Cricket is deeply woven into India’s cultural fabric, and CSK is one of the most respected and successful franchises in the cricket league. This partnership is a natural extension of Skybags’ philosophy of connecting with young, aspirational Indians through platforms they are most passionate about. CSK represents consistency, excellence, and talent nurturing values that resonate strongly with our brand. This is just the beginning of many such meaningful sporting associations for Skybags.”
Speaking on the association, Mr. KS Viswanathan, Managing Director, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) added, “We are delighted to welcome Skybags to the CSK family as our Official Luggage Partner. We can now offer our fans an additional way to celebrate their passion for CSK.
