The initiative has already supported over 6,000 children, with each centre catering to approximately 600 cases every month, indicating both its impact and the growing demand for developmental and behavioural health services across India. Notably, given the apprehension many families still face in seeking developmental and behavioural support, Sunshine by LISSUN is building trusted centres that serve as lifelines for families. Commenting on the milestone, Tarun Gupta, Co-Founder of LISSUN, said, “The launch of our 20th centre in Varthur marks a meaningful step in our mission to make early intervention accessible to every child who needs it. We understand that families often face hesitation and uncertainty when seeking help, and our goal at Sunshine is to remove those barriers by providing expert care with compassion. Every centre we open strengthens our commitment to supporting children’s developmental and behavioural growth, empowering them and their families to thrive with confidence.” The network has been addressing a wide spectrum of developmental and behavioural challenges, helping children overcome issues such as developmental delays, ADHD, autism, global developmental delay (GDD), language and speech difficulties, stuttering, and behavioral challenges in toddlers. It also supports families in navigating emotional and social concerns, including parent-child relationship dynamics, low self-esteem, body image struggles, and feelings of inferiority, empowering children to build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills. Among interventions, the most sought-after therapies and programs include Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, IEP Support Plans, and ABA & Behavioural Therapy, while Play Therapy and CBT-based approaches are steadily gaining adoption due to their effectiveness in improving communication, behaviour, and emotional well-being. With its growing footprint and tech-enabled phygital model, Sunshine by LISSUN is building a sustainable framework for child mental health and developmental support in India.
