In Telangana, 948 fresh COVID cases have been reported during the past 24 hours.

In Telangana, 948 fresh COVID cases have been reported during the past 24 hours. With this, the total COVID cases reported in the state has gone up to 2 lakh 59 thousand 776 (2,59,776). The state conducted over 42 thousand tests yesterday.
 

The recovery rate slightly improved to 94.42 percent with 1607 more people recovering yesterday. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to 2 lakh 45 thousand 293 (2,45,293). Meanwhile, the daily bulletin issued by the state Medical and Health department this morning stated that total deaths reported at 1415 following 5 more people succumbed to COVID and comorbidities during the past 24 hours.

 
Currently, the state has over 13 thousand active cases out of which over 10 thousand are in home isolation.

Meanwhile, 154 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Hyderabad during the past 24 hours while Medchal Malkajgiri, Rangareddy. Bhadradri Kothagudem districts are among those that reported a considerably high number of new COVID cases during the same time.
