Telangana has reported 761 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours. With this, the total COVID cases reported in the state has gone up to 2,67,665.

Telangana has reported 761 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours. With this, the total COVID cases reported in the state has gone up to 2 lakh 67 thousand 665 (2,67,665). The state conducted over 42 thousand tests yesterday.
 

The recovery rate slightly improved to 95.4 percent with 702 more people recovering yesterday. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to 2 lakh 55 thousand 378 (2,55,378).
 
Meanwhile, the daily bulletin issued by the state Medical and Health department this morning reported a total of 1448 deaths so far with 4 more people succumbing to COVID and comorbidities during the past 24 hours.

 
Currently, the state has over 10 thousand active cases out of which over 8 thousand are in home isolation. Meanwhile, 136 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Hyderabad during the past 24 hours while Medchal Malkajgiri, Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Rangareddy, Karimnagar, and Nalgonda districts are among those which reported a considerably high number of COVID-19 cases during the same period.
