In Telangana, 582 new cases of COVID -19 have been reported during the past 24 hours. With this, the total COVID cases in the state went up 2 lakh 31 thousand 834. The state conducted over 14 thousand tests yesterday.

The recovery rate marginally  improved to 91.4 per cent with 1432 more people recovering yesterday. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to 2 lakh 11 thousand 912.

Meanwhile, the daily bulletin issued by the state Medical and Health department this morning stated that total deaths rose to 1311 following 4 more people succumbing to COVID during the past 24 hours. Currently the state has over 18 thousand active cases out of which over 15 thousand are in home isolation.
