The state conducted over 50 thousand tests yesterday. The recovery rate also slightly improved to 86.65 percent with 2,067 more people recovering yesterday.

Telangana reported 1,896 new COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours. With this, the total COVID cases in the state went up to two lakh six thousand 644.

The state conducted over 50 thousand tests yesterday. The recovery rate also slightly improved to 86.65 percent with 2,067 more people recovering yesterday. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to one lakh 79 thousand 75.

The daily bulletin issued by the State Medical and Health Department this morning, stated that total deaths rose to 1,201 following 12 more deaths reported during the past 24 hours.  


Meanwhile, 294 new COVID-19 cases reported in Hyderabad while Ranga Reddy district reported 211 new cases. Karimnagar, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda districts also reported considerably high number of new cases each during the same period.
