In Telangana, 837 new cases of COVID -19 were reported during the past 24 hours.
 
With this, the total COVID cases in the state went up 2,32,671.
 
The state conducted over 21 thousand tests on Monday.
 

The recovery rate slightly improved to 91.14 per cent with 1,554 more people recovering on Monday.

This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to 2,13,466.
 
The daily bulletin issued by the State Medical and Health Department stated that total deaths rose to 1,315 following four more people succumbed to COVID and comorbidities during the past 24 hours.

 
Currently, the state has over 17 thousand active cases out of which over 14 thousand are in home isolation.  
 
Meanwhile, 185 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Hyderabad while Khammam district reported 76.
 
Rangareddy, Karimnagar and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts reported around 50 new cases during the past 24 hours.
