25 sailors now are tested positive for COVID-19 aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt, after Pentagon declared that three sailors aboard the ship are tested.
Reportedly, the Navy says that there could possibly be dozens of new cases that emerge. Another official reveals that there are a large number of additional cases. He further adds that Defense Department would unlikely go on record on how many of the Navy's overall cases are amongst members of the crew of the Roosevelt lest those adversaries such as China or North Korea could see the ship as vulnerable. Acting Navy Secretary Thomas Modly says that there are "several" more cases onboard the ship, but refrained from giving a specific number.
