What are WISI Meetings?

It was hosted by Women in Sports India WISI Meetings which are monthly themed networking meetups. Each WISI Meeting has a different focus area. In the month of September, they focus on Sports Management in India.

 

Who are the Experts?

  • Devendra Prabhudesai Head - Corporate Relations IISM

Devendra holds the position of Corporate Relations Head at the International Institute of Sports Management. Before that, he was Manager - Media Relations and Corporate Affairs at the BCCI from 2008 to 2015. As an educator, he knows the insides of the sports industry and can guide to choose the right career path.

 

  • Shail Kapri Program Head AIFF Masters

Apart from holding a position of Program Head for AIFF Masters Shail also serves as Dean of WIFA Skillnation. His experience in the field of sports and education makes him a perfect advisor to the young talent aspiring to work in sports.

 

  • Sid Deshmukh Head of Industry Connect Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences

Sid, Head of Industry Connect at Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences is a versatile sports expert with the knowledge of the industry as well as sports education. He is a sports marketing expert and has helped many young sports aspirants get into the field.

 

What will the structure of WISI Meetings: Sports Management?

No presentation No lecture. They jump straight to Q&A. We ask the questions and their experts answer. They believe in providing value in each meeting. Hence their motto is No bullshit. Pure discussion.

 

Who is the event for?

This WISI Meeting is primarily for the women interested in entering the sports management field.
