The initiative brought together participants for a structured meditation experience aimed at fostering relaxation, emotional balance, and mental clarity.

The session introduced attendees to Twin Heart Meditation, a guided practice designed to help individuals manage stress and cultivate inner calm. The session was conducted by Mr. Gautam Ailani, Pranic Healer, Managing Trustee of the Yoga Vidya Pranic Healing Foundation of South Mumbai. The session focused on simple techniques that can be incorporated into daily routines to support overall well-being.

Globally, an estimated 1 in 8 people live with a mental health condition, according to the World Health Organization, underscoring the growing importance of addressing stress and emotional well-being alongside physical health. In recent times, doctors have also observed a growing number of individuals reporting concerns such as fatigue, sleep disturbances, and high stress levels, particularly in urban environments.

Commenting on this initiative, Mr. Sriram Rajagopal, Director, World Pranic Healing (India), and Ms. Sumi Lazar, Pranic Healing Instructor & Healer, Trustee, World Pranic Healing (India), said,“In today’s demanding environment, it is important for individuals to have access to simple yet effective tools to manage stress and maintain inner balance. Practices like Twin Heart Meditation offer a structured way to improve emotional well-being and mental clarity. Through such collaborations, we aim to make holistic wellness practices more accessible and relevant to everyday life.”

Adding to this, Dr. Vidya Shetty, HOD Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, KIMS Hospitals, Thane, said, “We are increasingly seeing the impact of stress on overall health, even among otherwise healthy individuals. Health today goes beyond treating illness—it also involves maintaining mental and emotional balance. Simple, guided practices like meditation can help individuals pause, reset, and build resilience in their daily lives. Such initiatives encourage a more preventive and holistic approach to wellbeing.”

The session witnessed active participation and offered attendees a practical introduction to mindfulness-based techniques that can be practiced independently. Many participants described feeling more relaxed and centered following the session, highlighting the growing relevance of such initiatives.

This initiative reflects a broader shift in healthcare, where institutions are increasingly focusing on preventive and lifestyle-led interventions alongside clinical care, enabling individuals to take a more proactive role in managing their health.
