Gujarat Chief Minister Mr Vijay Rupani today inaugurated the Boys Hostel, prepared by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation at an estimated cost of Rs 39 crore. Chief Minister himself checked the world-class facilities available at the Boys Hostel and got feedback directly from the medical students.

The 12-storey hostel has a total number of 275 rooms ranging from 2 to 12 floors. The first floor features a large living room, gym, dining room, library and spacious parking, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The Boys Hostel has been built to provide excellent living facilities to the students of Municipal Medical College. Earlier in September 2019,  girls’ hostel was also launched for medical students.

 Home Minister Shri Pradeepsinh Jadeja, Mayor Smt. Bijalben Patel and Municipal Commissioner Shri Vijay Nehara were also present for the inauguration.
