In Bihar, over five lakh health workers have been identified for Covid vaccination. Health Minister Mangal Pandey said 45 thousand alternate vaccine providers have also been identified.

In Bihar, over five lakh health workers have been identified for Covid vaccination. Health Minister Mangal Pandey said 45 thousand alternate vaccine providers have also been identified. They will be roped in the vaccination drive.

He said the state government has already selected Nalanda Medical College Hospital as the state-level storage for Covid-19 vaccines and walk-in cold rooms on its campus will be transferred to ten regional centers for distribution.
 

Meanwhile, Bihar is reporting more recoveries than fresh Corona cases. 433 patients recovered during the last 24 hours, while 287 new cases were reported. So far, two lakh 41 thousand 358 patients have recovered from the Covid-19 infection in the state.

The number of active cases is continuously declining. Currently, four thousand 814 patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals.

 
COVID-19 recovery rate has improved to 97.51 percent in Bihar. This is 1.98 percent more than the national average.
 
Over one lakh 2 thousand corona tests were carried out during the past 24 hours. Over one crore of 72 lakh, corona tests have been conducted in the state so far.
