Goa suspects tests negative for Coronavirus

According to Heral Goa newspaper report, three patients, who were quarantined for suspected coronavirus have tested negative. The report of other three is still awaited. Total six people, all Indians, were quarantined at Goa Medical College and Hospital at Bambolim for suspected coronavirus.

Director of Health Jose D'Sa said the three out of six have tested negative. He said that no new cases of suspected coronavirus have been observed so far.

Director said that apart from those in GMC, there are 19 other people who are home quarantined.

"The cases of COVID-19 in Goa is so far nil" he said.

Meanwhile, to expedite screening of international passengers, the screening counters at Dabolim International Airport have been increased from two to three, with separate lanes for different flights.

The Airport Authority informed that total three doctors and paramedics, each, are on job at night and the same number in day during weekends.
