▴ India's COVID-19 recovery rate reaches 93.65 Percent.
India's Total active cases now stand at 4 lakh 55 thousand 5 hundred 55. The recovery rate has reached 93.65 percent.

With 43 thousand 82 new COVID-19 infections, the country's total cases went up to 93 lakh 9 thousand 7 hundred 88. The Health Ministry said, with 492 new deaths, the death toll has gone up to 1 lakh 35 thousand 7 hundred 15.

Total active cases now stand at 4 lakh 55 thousand 5 hundred 55. Total discharged cases reached 87 lakh 18 thousand 5 hundred 17 with 39 thousand 3 hundred 79 new discharges in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate has reached 93.65 percent.

Over 11 lakh 31 thousand COVID samples were tested in the country in the last 24 hours. With this, the cumulative testing figure has crossed an important milestone of 13 crores 70 lakh. The Central Government and ICMR have scaled up the TESTING infrastructure in a calibrated manner.

The Health Ministry has said that very high levels of testing lead to early identification, prompt isolation, and effective treatment of COVID-19 cases. It said, this also leads to a low Fatality Rate. Higher volumes of testing have also ensured a lower daily positivity rate which continues to remain below 4 percent. The country is undertaking almost 5 times the number of daily tests per million of the population as per the standards prescribed by WHO.

Starting from just one testing lab at the National Institute of Virology, Pune, in January this year, the country today has two thousand 151 labs for testing Covid samples which include one thousand 169 government and 982 private labs. India's testing capacity has touched 15 lakh per day ensuring easily accessible COVID19 tests for all.
