Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a review meeting today with districts having low vaccination coverage. The meeting will be held at 12 Noon through video conferencing.

The meeting will include districts with less than 50 per cent coverage of the first dose and low coverage of the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. During the meeting, Mr Modi will interact with District Magistrates of over 40 districts where the vaccination coverage is low. These districts are in Jharkhand, Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Meghalaya and other States.

Chief Ministers of these states will also attend the review meeting. So far the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 78 per cent of the eligible population and the second dose to 35 per cent of the eligible population of the country.
